Nose: Vanilla, plums and apricots with Custard. With water: touches of cooked asparagus. A characterful old spirit.

Mouth (neat): big sweet oak, which works well. Bags of ginger, white pepper, cinnamon and cardamom. The oak’s quite talkative. With water: smoother, rounder, with a lot of American oak,. Finish: Long,menthol and leafy.
