A pot stilled and molasses-based rum from Jamaica’s Clarendon Distillery, this single-cask offering spent 18 years in bourbon casks before being transferred to 350L Ferrand casks that previously held Borderies cognac. The combination of these two aging processes gives the rum a depth of flavor that is uniquely Jamaican.
The numbers behind this limited-edition release are: 1251 g/HL AA; Esters 256 g/hL AA and an ABV of 51.6%. It is labelled with Clarendon’s ‘MBK’ marque accordingly.
