Alban Wine Glass

The Alban collection was designed before Akua Objects was founded. The collection was sketched in 2019, while Annika was still pregnant with her first-born son, Alban.

The symbol of growing life and the remembrance of the poppy gave life to Akua Objects’ first collected drawings, which today represent a collection named after Alban.

The Alban glasses convey a contemporary take on the poppy that has always been close to Annika’s heart. The glasses sometimes carry small bubbles of air, eternally capturing the breath of the glass blower.
