This Islay single malt was distilled and matured at the Bruichladdich distillery while under the ownership of Invergordon, prior to the distillery’s closure in the early 1990s. Bottled sometime in the 1980s, this expression is presented at a strength of 43% abv in the larger litre format bottling.

Bruichladdich Distillery is a distillery on the Rhinns of the isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt Scotch whisky, but has also offered artisanal gin. It is owned by Rémy Cointreau and is one of eight working distilleries on the island.
