This Authors’ Series is a range of exclusive single malt whiskies, created by the prestigious blenders and bottlers, Hunter Laing & Co. This is a limited edition expression, inspired by the life and work of Jules Verne. This particular expression was distilled in October 1990 at the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, before maturing for 25 years in a refill hogshead. Bottled in September 2016 at a strength of 48.6% abv, only 140 have been produced. Each bottle is presented in a brown leather box, embossed with gold metallic text, and are individually wax sealed.

Distillery Information
The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. Since 2014 the distillery has been owned by Distell and is one of nine active distilleries on the island.
