The Centinela Anejo tequila is made with 100% agave and is aged for around 30 months in barrels previously used for maturing bourbon, before it is bottled. Well suited to sipping neat and being splashed in cocktails that would benefit from the subtle caramels and oak spices of this tasty aged tequila.

Distillery Tequila Centinela, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1140) produces this añejo made from blue weber agave harvested mostly from their fields in the Los Altos (Highland) region of Jalisco, Mexico. It has been aged in American ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 2 years.
Centinela Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Medium oak wood, vanilla and raisins with faint hint of citrus.
Palate: Smooth and sweet. Distinct oak wood complemented by vanilla, raisins and honey, with a hint of melon.
Finish: Caramel and smoky notes.
