Entry is a little firm, oak-heavy, dry; countered by a burst of sweet fruits as the wood dovetails into fig, apricot, nectarine and vanilla. Climaxes in the aftertaste which sustains the flavours of the middle stage with extraordinary staying power. Resonates for 20 seconds plus. Even better after extended air contact.
