Nose: Rich, fruity, brambles/dark berry fruits, malt loaf, buttered toast, brown sugar.

Palate: Fruity, rounded, stewed fruits, brambles, black cherries, candies, strawberry liquorice, maple syrup, hint of tobacco.

Finish: Long, cosy, black forest gateaux, coffee, bramble jam, cherry compote, sweet spice lingers.

Distillery Information

Glen Garioch was founded in 1797 by John Manson, making it one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland. During the 1800s it was a powerhouse of a distillery, producing a malt of great renown.
