A cask strength, single cask GlenAllachie, distilled in June 2006. The single malt spent the next 13 years in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead. Unlucky for some, but not this delicious Speysider! Eventually it was bottled in August 2019 at 60.1% ABV, with 323 bottles released.

Released as part of the second batch of UK exclusive single casks from the distillery, only 323 bottles have been produced, each one individually numbered.

Nose: Dark chocolate, mocha, honey and sweet spice.
Palate: Delicious mocha and dark chocolate with orange zest, treacle and cinnamon.
Finish: Warming spices linger on with a touch of mint.
Distillery Information
Glenallachie is a malt whisky distillery on Speyside at Aberlour founded in 1967. It has mainly produced whisky for blends. Under Chivas ownership it released 2 official bottlings at cask strength, one of 16 and one of 18 years old. A new core range of 10, 12, 18 and 25 year old whisky was released in 2018 under the new ownership, as well as additional single cask releases.
