A 1998 Glenburgie single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single hogshead for more than two decades before being bottled in November 2019 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of vanilla, grapefruit peel, hops and lemon drizzle cake fill the nose. The palate offers notes of bitter oranges, fizzy lemonade, oak and American IPA.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Light and elegant as it ends, the last hint of smoke slowly fading out.

Glenburgie was founded in 1810 under the name ‘Kilnflat’ by William Paul. It is neighbors with Glenallachie and Glenspey.
