This rare 10 year old Highland single malt was distilled at the Glenmorangie distillery in 1993 and bottled in 2003 to commemorate Glenmorangie’s inclusion as one of the 100 best UK companies to work for, actually finishing 42nd in the UK and 2nd in Scotland. Filled at a cask strength 56.9% ABV, this is one of just 350 very limited bottling’s.

Nose: A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.

Distillery Information

The Glenmorangie distillery was established in 1843, on the Dornoch Firth by brothers William and John Matheson. The site originally held a farm distillery under the name Morangie. There is evidence that distillation was carried out at this site during the early 18th century. Production began in November of 1849. During the latter part of the 19th century Glenmorangie began overseas exportation and destinations included Europe and the United States.
