Grosperrin 1992 Bons Bois Cognac 51.5% 350ml

This vintage Cognac comes from a fruit farm located in Saintonge. Having started in 1971 with 10 hectares of apple trees, this farm now has some 100 hectares of fruit trees and only a few hectares of vines. This rustic terroir, made up of clays and marls, is reputed not to be suitable for viticulture. However, good management of the vines, careful distillation and quality aging manage to give these Cognacs a distinctive, powerful and balanced character, more and more sought after by amateurs. 

Tasting Notes: Golden colour. On the nose, sweet aromas of rum baba, currants and orange peels. You have to let the glass air out to perceive more airy and vegetal notes, such as grapes and cloves. Beautiful puffs of salty air that make you salivate. In the mouth, a power contained in the attack. Thanks to a very slow reduction, the mouth became oily, the reduction does not feel.
