Highland Park Single Cask Florida Edition Scotch Whisky, a single cask release made available exclusively to Florida. Part of their acclaimed Single Cask series, the Scotch is crafted from 100% malted Scottish barley, dried over peat flames, and distilled in copper stills before being aged in refill sherry butts. After this long maturation period, the barrel is tapped and its contents bottled at cask-strength to create a unique and intense expression that is bound to please even the most discriminating Scotch drinker.

Nose: Pleasing aroma consisting of citrus notes, light oak, sherry, and a hint peat smoke.

Palate: Sweet and rich palate of vanilla, more sherry and citrus.

Finish: Lingering finish with dry sherried notes.

Distillery Information

Highland Park, one of only two distilleries in the Orkney Isles, is the world’s most northerly whisky distillery. It was founded in 1798 by Magnus Euson. Until it was licensed in 1825 its production was illicit and Euson was assisted in evading the excisemen by a kinsman who was a Kirk elder and hid the contraband under the pulpit. By the 1880s Highland Park had an established reputation and at one time both the King of Denmark and the Emperor of Russia declared it to be the finest whisky they had ever tasted.
