Inchgower 24 Year Old 1998 – Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing) Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: This dark gold whisky has a rich nose of ripe plum, honey, vanilla, and a touch of orange zest.
Palate: Very fruity on the palate with raspberry, red apple, and grape, drizzled with caramel sauce and grated hazelnut.
Finish: The finish is long, smooth, and sweet.
Distillery Information
The distillery was built in 1871 to replace Tochineal Distillery but liquidated in 1903. Buckie Council purchased the concern in 1936 and ownership was transferred to Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd in 1938 and indeed to this very day the Bell’s logo is used in the advertising of Inchgower.
