Also known as a “Kukri,” the Khukuri is a traditional Nepalese knife known for its curved blade. These knives became associated with the Nepalese army and Nepalese-speaking Ghurka regiments in the British and Indian armies.
The Kukri would traditionally have been given to Nepalese boys as quite small children and used as general utility knives for hunting, skinning, cutting wood, and clearing undergrowth.
