The Calvados AOC Pays d’Auge is obtained through a process of double distillation of cider in an “alambic à repasse” (which translates as a “double distillation still”). Aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years.
Tasting notes – Aromas of caramelized apple and hint of wood. A marriage of wood and apple flavours. With a faint spice finish.
