Each batch is meticulously blended to ensure consistency and the aging takes place in an environment with controlled humidity. The Rooster Rojo Tequila Añejo spends at least 12 months in 200-liter used American oak casks that used to hold bourbon. The oldest in the threesome of Rooster Rojo expressions, it’s also the richest of them all.

Nose: A distinct oakiness, chocolate, tobacco, and coffee aromas.
Palate: Caramel, oak, vanilla, and fruity roasted agave notes.
Finish: Smooth and long with lingering vanilla and oak.
Distillery Information
Jalisco, Mexico is known as the cradle of the famous Mexican spirit. There, in the shadow of the Tequila volcano, in the town of Tequila, lies a distillery. Fabrica de Tequilas Finos set up shop in 2000, converting a beautiful old colonial building that has stood there since 1923.
