Each batch is meticulously blended to ensure consistency and the aging takes place in an environment with controlled humidity. The Rooster Rojo Reposado (rested) expression matures in French oak casks for upwards of 2 months, resulting in a fruity and creamy profile with a light oakiness that’s equally at home as a cocktail base or on its own.

Nose: A light oakiness, aromas of ripe fruit, and cooked agave.

Palate: Vanilla, caramel, and more cooked agave

Finish: Smooth, warm, and medium length.

Distillery Information

Jalisco, Mexico is known as the cradle of the famous Mexican spirit. There, in the shadow of the Tequila volcano, in the town of Tequila, lies a distillery. Fabrica de Tequilas Finos set up shop in 2000, converting a beautiful old colonial building that has stood there since 1923.
