Shakara is an ancient Sanskrit word that pays tribute to the origins of sugar cane in Southeast Asia, where the Kingdom of Thailand is located.

Shakara is a traditional Thai rum, made using molasses from locally grown sugar cane, distilled in a column still and aged entirely in the tropical climate of Thailand for 12 years. Shakara is a totally natural rum, with no additives or coloring added.
