Distillery Information
Glenburgie, also known as Glenburgie-Glenlivet, Glen Burgie or Glenburry is a whisky distillery near Alves, Moray. Founded in 1810 according to a plaque onsite (at which time it was known as Kilnflat), the distillery is agreed to have been established officially by owner William Paul in 1829. It was also the first distillery project of the great 19th-century architect Charles Chree Doig, who oversaw a rebuild at the site in 1881.
