Sol Dios tequilas call themselves “the elixir of the gods.” The bottles are designed in the form of a temple pyramid with the round top symbolizing the rays of the sun. Sol Dios Plaintum tequila is not aged but bottled clear. They say that a special distillation process allows them to eliminate 90% of “fusel oils,” which they feel mitigates the “burn” on the palate and makes for a better tasting product.
