After more than two decades in a single refill American oak hogshead, this 1990-vintage Tomatin was bottled in 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice series. Soft, sweet aromas of banana and white chocolate mingle with toasted malt, dried grass and summer flowers. The palate offers spicy, nutty notes of ginger and Brazil nuts, before tangy kiwi, mango and ripe banana develop. The finish is long and zesty, with lingering floral notes.
