Tormore Connoisseurs Choice Single Cask #703012 2006 17 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich vanilla pod and red apple give way to milk chocolate . Notes of nougat and malte d biscuit develop alongside fresh lime.

Palate: Smooth and sweet with toasted almond s and lemon zest. Seville orange notes come to the fore accompanied by pine apple and soft black pepper.

Finish: Medium-bodied with spice and a hint of aniseed.

Distillery Information

Tormore was founded in 1958 by Schenley International and production began in 1960. The whisky was intended for their Long John blended Scotch brand. It was built alongside the A96 road, deep in the Speyside region and roughly halfway between Grantown-on-Spey and Aberlour.
