Released in 2019, The Tweeddale Evolution Blend is a combination of classic Speyside whiskies and a sweet Lowland grain whisky. The oldest whisky in the Tweeddale range, Evolution has been matured for 28 years, creating aromas of juicy black fruits, lemon zest and butter-cream icing. The palate offers rich notes of fruit cake, blackcurrant, pears and cinnamon.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: Firm, powerful. A well-balanced attack gives equal footing to aromas of peat, smoke, spices.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.

Distillery Information

R&B Distillers Ltd. was co-founded in 2014 by whisky blender Alasdair Day and online dating entrepreneur Bill Dobbie. While it doesn’t currently own a distillery, it does already have a successful whisky brand in The Tweeddale Blend.
